In the period between 18^th to 21^th of January 2016, Spanish expert Mr.Jesús Ángel Ocio and Dutch expert Mr. Co Molenaar delivered policy recommendations and provided useful reference information for soil pollution prevention, control and management of contaminated sites and recommendations related to the OHIS site, polluted with lindane and HCHs.

On their first day the current situation and focus of the work of the MS experts was discussed during the meeting with the RTA Counterpart and MoEPP experts in charge of control and remediation of POPs’ contaminated sites.

In addition, a DVD with an example of remediation project of a heavily polluted site with a problem similar to the case of OHIS site was provided.
