In the period 9^th – 13^th of May 2016 Dutch experts Mr. Marc du Maine and Mr. Bram Segijn, within mission 1.3.8, implemented a series of training sessions to improve communication skills of inspectors in 2 regions, to improve team work between SEI inspectors and permit writers, and to build capacity as trainers of a selected group of inspectors that will become afterwards trainers of the rest of inspectors.

The regional trainee groups, from the Southeastern, Vardar, Pelagonia & Southwestern regions, included central and local environmental inspectors, as well as permit writers.

After preparing the last arrangements on the 9^th of May, the training delivered encompassed 4 days (10^th – 13^th of May), divided as follows:

• 10^th of May: 1-day training session on skills for the group from Southeastern & Vardar regions.
• 11^th of May: 1-day training session on skills for the group from Pelagonia & Southwestern regions.
• 12^th of May: 1-day training session on team building for SEI inspectors and permit writers, based on a discussion about control and performance improvement of selected industrial sectors.
• 13^th of May: Train-the-Trainer session for a selected group of inspectors.

On the session in Gevgelija on the 10^th of May the training session was filmed and appeared in the Macedonian TV channel Nova.

During the mission preparation of agenda for training mission 1.3.9 took place as well.
